Transfer to/from Barcelona by Train
RENFE is the state-owned company which operates passenger trains in Spain. Trains between Barcelona Airport and the city centre have a frequency of approximately 30 minutes.
• Travel time: approximately 25 minutes
• Operating hours: from 6:00 to 22:30 (23:30 to Sants only)
If travelling from the Airport to the City Centre you can get off at Barcelona Sants, Passeig de Gracia or Clot which are serviced by metro stops. From these stations you can change for the Barcelona underground system to get to your destination.
Ticket Prices
The ticket that gives you the best value for money is the T-10. This is a multi-person ticket that allows you to take Metro and Bus during 1h 15min. It offers 10 rides in zone 1, which basically covers the whole city.
If you are arriving to Terminal 1, a shuttle bus will take you from outside the terminal to the train station entrance.
