The Barcelona Airport parking has approximately 23,000 parking spaces, more than 12,000 are situated in the new Terminal T1 and 11,900 in the Terminal T2 (old terminal A, terminal B and terminal C).

Parking in Terminal T1

In T1 there is one surface car park beside the terminal building and two parking decks. Both decks are connected to the Terminal 1 through a walkway.

If you know your boarding gate in advance, the indicators and the parking signals will allow you to park close to your gate.

If you need to leave your vehicle parked during a long period of time, the airport has a long stay parking situated at two kilometers from the terminal. A shuttle bus will take you to T1.

Parking in terminal T2

The T2 has got parking spaces right in front of the terminal and two parking decks. These are connected through walkways to the terminal T2A and T2C.

To enter the car parks, take a ticket by pressing the button on the ticket dispenser located on each access point. Once in the car park drive slowly and don't park in unauthorized areas. To guarantee the safety and smooth traffic flow, tow trucks will remove vehicles parked improperly, and the offender will be fined.

All entrances and exits to parking areas are guarded and have 24-hour security and customer service.

Parking fee needs to be paid before leaving with your vehicle. There are numerous automatic payments machines.

These are located in the terminal building public areas, at the pedestrian entrances to the car parks, and on the ground floor of the park decks.

Once the ticket has been paid and validated, you have 20 minutes to leave the car park. Introduce the ticket in the machine located at each exit.

Public Parking Rates (2009)

-From 0 to 30 minutes, €0.021218 per minute

-From 31 to 60 minutes, €0.033596 per minute

-Over 60 minutes, €0.027309 per minute

Maximum daily parking rate for up to 4 days, €18.

Maximum daily parking rate after the fifth day, €14.40.

Lock your vehicle and do not leave valuables where they can be seen.

For security reasons and to ensure the traffic moves smoothly, incorrectly parked vehicles will be removed and their owners will have to pay the appropriate fine.

Do not leave the parking ticket in your vehicle. Keep it with you and take note of the parking space number where you have parked.
